Her birth name is Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on July 9 1983. Her first job after leaving school was in the industry of real estate. She was introduced to Tarek Al Moussa, who was in the real estate industry. They had a great time through 2008, but then the stock market crashed and numerous house flippers and real estate investors went under. Tarek El Moussa & Christina El Moussa were nearly bankrupted by the crash in stocks of 2008. After moving from a house which cost them $6,000 per year to an apartment costing $700, they were close to losing all their possessions. Their company, as well as the economy in general, slowly rebounded. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek asked a close friend to make a HGTV audition film in 2011 that featured the duo of him as well as Christina flipping over a home. Pie Town Productions executives received the tape. The execs were infatuated with Christina's story of love between Tarek and Christina. The agreement was made by the couple to HGTV. Flip of Flop was launched in the month of April 2013. From 2013 to 2017, 92 episodes were broadcast over the course of seven seasons. The show starred Christina and Tarek buying properties in Orange County. They would work for weeks on reworking the properties to be able to sell the properties for a profit.
